ON.energy completes construction of AI UPS system at National Laboratory of the Rockies, Colorado

Electrical equipment manufacturer ON.energy has completed construction of its AI UPS at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) in Boulder, Colorado. ON.energy claims that the UPS is the first medium voltage unit engineered specifically for the AI data center market. In collaboration with NLR, ON will test the technology at NLR’s Flatirons Campus, which is home to an advanced grid simulator and the Advanced Research on Integrated Energy Systems (ARIES) research platform.
