ON.energy inks 5GW transformer deal to scale AI-ready UPS rollout
Electrical equipment manufacturer ON.energy has signed a 5GW transformer supply agreement for data center and renewable infrastructure applications in the US. The agreement will initially support the deployment of its medium-voltage AI UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) technology at data center campuses starting next year. “AI data centers are becoming the largest and most dynamic electrical loads in the world. To deploy them responsibly at scale, we need partners who can deliver not only at volume but at the highest standard of quality,” said Dax Kepshire, president of ON.energy’s Data Center division.
