Multi-hundred-megawatt campuses and high load factors are stretching utility systems faster than interconnection processes can evolve, but ON.energy says it has a solution.

On Oct. 22, ON.energy announced the launch of AI UPS, a medium voltage uninterruptible power supply (UPS) just for data centers.
AI UPS is designed to deliver full-facility resilience while protecting the grid, said ON.energy in a news release. The need for a new type of UPS grew out of the demands of data centers, said Alan Cooper, co-founder and CEO of ON.energy.
